When Kate and Kyle got married

I couldn’t have been any happier to photograph this pair’s special day at one of our favourite local venues – Iscoyd Park. They were such a fun and relaxed couple to photograph, and I think it shines through in the images.

So much love, laughter…and whiskey!!

Our lovely Aga caught up with Kate and Kyle post-wedding to find out more behind the inspiration of their epic day…

How did you both meet?

In jail. But no, it was really in the Marlbororough (spelling intentional) Arms, through a mutual friend to celebrate Kyle’s undergrad results.

What was your inspiration behind the styling on the day?

Scotland. With Kyle’s family heritage we couldn’t not embrace all things Scottish!

Favourite detail?

How can we pick just one?! The flowers, the piper, the address to the haggis and of course the copious amounts of whisky for Kyle. 

Favourite moment?

It’s hard to pick one but probably the Best Man’s speech (read: song!)

Bridal Gown Designer, and why did you love about your dress? 

My Bridal Gown was from Justin Alexander. I absolutely loved the lace embroidery and the cape.

Kyle’s Campbell Tartan Kilt was from ManninKilt (Isle of Man).
